The Gurmat Music Diploma is a two-year part-time program. This program has a series of courses to prepare students for a career/path towards Sikh music’s Shabad Keertan (spiritual hymn singing) tradition. The courses will allow students an option to take vocal, instrumental (stringed instruments), or percussion (Tabla/Jodi) streams. Advanced level students can also do written qualifying examinations and performances at the upper level to directly fast track towards obtaining the diploma. Courses must be taken consecutively as they require the previous level course before taking the next level course.
