Dr. Manmohan Singh Kumar

Dr. Manmohan Singh Kumar is a renowned economist with a career spanning over four decades bridging global economic policy, institutional investment, research and academia. He has held senior leadership positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a major global institutional investment company (CDPQ), a large investment bank, and taught at some of the world’s top universities, including Cambridge, Georgetown and Harvard. 

At the IMF, Dr. Kumar headed the Fiscal Division for nearly a decade, providing policy advice to many of the 190 member countries of the IMF, and later headed the Financing Division which plays a key role in IMF’s Finances. He was also responsible for research work for G7 and G20 meetings, and led several policy missions to major developing and industrial countries. At CDPQ he was a senior Vice President for nearly a decade, Managing Director of its Washington D.C. office, member of its US Board and Chief Economist. He has been a consultant to the World Bank, United Nations, NERA and other private sector companies, and advised US and UK Treasury. He has published over 100 papers and 10 books and monographs.

Beyond his professional work, he serves (since 2020) as Chairman of the Board of Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF), which provides college scholarships to bright but financially constrained students in Punjab and neighboring areas, and has given over 15,000 scholarships. He has been a member of the Board of the Guru Nanak Foundation of America, is a founder of Sikh Society Cambridge and is an author of many articles on various aspects of Sikh philosophy and history. He is also a frequent speaker at Sikh Institutions and Gurudwaras. 

He holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, and M.Sc. and B.Sc. from London University. He has received several prizes and honors from London and Cambridge Universities, from IMF, and is a recipient of several other awards from public and private sector institutions.

Dr. Sandeep Kaur Glover

Dr. Sandeep Kaur Glover is an educator, scholar, artist, and activist whose interdisciplinary research integrates embodied, arts-based, and decolonial methodologies. A fourth-generation Punjabi-Sikh Canadian, Dr. Kaur Glover recently completed her PhD in Arts Education at Simon Fraser University. Her research foregrounds Punjabi-Sikh onto-epistemologies and intergenerational lived experiences in cultivating culturally responsive approaches to intergenerational healing, identity development, and social justice activism. Dr. Kaur Glover’s work has been widely published, and she received the Simon Fraser University’s 2026 Dean of Graduate Studies Convocation Medal and the 2026 Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies (CACS) ARTS SIG 2026 Doctoral Dissertation Award. Since 2001, she has taught in the B.C. K-12 system, international and community-based education, and higher education. Dr. Kaur Glover’s scholarship grows out of formative experiences in a garden with her Babaji (grandfather), who indelibly shaped her reverence for the land and a felt connection through her sensing soles and fingertips.

Dr. Muninder Kaur Alhuwalia

Muninder Kaur Ahluwalia, PhD. is Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling at Montclair State University. Dr. Ahluwalia received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from New York University. She is Fellow of both the Society of Counseling Psychology and the Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity and Race of the American Psychological Association (APA), a recipient of the O’hana Award from Counselors for Social Justice of the American Counseling Association, and is past chair of the Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs of the APA. Dr. Ahluwalia has served on the Editorial Boards for counseling and psychology journals. She is co-author of the books, Taking action: Creating social change through strength, solidarity, strategy and sustainability, and Workbook for Social Action for Counselors, Psychologists, and Helping Professionals. Dr. Ahluwalia engages in scholarship focusing on intersecting identities, anti-racism and social justice.

Dr. Harjinder Singh Sandhu

Dr. Sandhu is a globally recognized leader in healthcare AI and innovation. He most recently served as CTO of Health & Life Sciences Solutions and Platform at Microsoft, where he helped define the company’s global AI strategy for healthcare transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and previously served as an Assistant Professor at York University, as well as a visiting scientist at IBM. Dr. Sandhu is also a successful serial entrepreneur, having founded or co-founded multiple companies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine. His most recent venture, Saykara, developed a voice-powered AI medical scribe to reduce physician burnout and improve clinical workflows. The company was acquired by Nuance Communications in 2021, where he served as Vice President of Technology Strategy prior to its acquisition by Microsoft. Dr. Sandhu’s unique blend of academic expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and executive leadership makes him a sought after voice in global discussions on AI in healthcare.
