Prerequisite:

  • The students must have completed grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Must pass in-house designed entry exam covering basic math, algebra, and calculus (minimum score 60%).
  • Students from non-English speaking countries must pass the English Language Proficiency Test.
  • English Language Proficiency Test scores (IELTS – 6.0, TOEFL – 70, PTE – 45, CAEL – 70, CAE – 176, Duolingo – 110, Password – 6.5, and PTE – 61) are acceptable.

  • Conduct signal strength measurements at various locations from a transmitting antenna
    using a mobile phone and analyze the results.
  • Comprehend the generations of cellular phones and their evolution.
  • Explain and compare different Multiple Access Techniques for Wireless Communication, including FDMA, TDMA, and CDMA.
  • Describe and contrast various Mobile Communication Systems, with a focus on GSM and CDMA.
  • Demonstrate call processing using GSM and CDMA trainer kits.
  • Showcase an understanding of SIM cards, LTE (Long-Term Evolution), Vo-LTE (Voice over LTE), and mobile network technologies.
  • Implement the concepts of Wireless networks.
