Course Overview:
The Network Management course is a comprehensive and in-depth program that covers the core principles and practical skills required to effectively plan, design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures. This course provides networking professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage different types of computer networks. The curriculum covers core network management concepts including protocols like SNMP and syslog, network monitoring, performance measurement, capacity planning, troubleshooting tools, automation systems like SolarWinds and Splunk, disaster recovery systems, and maintaining network security. By the end of the course, students will be able to proactively manage networks, resources, and assets using a variety of industry-standard tools and best practices. The course develops well-rounded skills for managing wired and wireless networks to maximize uptime, reliability, efficiency and security.
Prerequisite:
- The students must have completed grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Must pass in-house designed entry exam covering basic math, algebra, and calculus (minimum score 60%).
- Students from non-English speaking countries must pass the English Language Proficiency Test.
- English Language Proficiency Test scores (IELTS – 6.0, TOEFL – 70, PTE – 45, CAEL – 70, CAE – 176, Duolingo – 110, Password – 6.5, and PTE – 61) are acceptable.
