This upper-level course examines Sikh philosophy as an egalitarian, justice-oriented worldview
through engagement with feminist theory. Students analyze Sikh teachings in conversation with
diverse feminist frameworks to critically assess gender, power, caste, race, colonialism, and class,
while situating Sikh ethical thought within global and transnational feminist debates.
