challenges of Sikh institutions from the Guru period to the present. Students analyze key bodies—
such as the Gurduara, Akal Takht, SGPC, and global Sikh organizations—to assess institutional
authority, accountability, and the evolving relationship between spiritual leadership and
administrative governance in diverse political and diasporic contexts.
