Course Overview:
Lean Six Sigma is a discipline that is used to help organizations deliver Customer Value through efficient operations and quality standards. This course articulates how the quality and consistencies (Six Sigma) and the efficiencies through minimization of waste errors and delays (Lean) can increase profitability for an organization. Students learn structured problem-solving methodology, the use of value stream maps, charts and surveys, and the application of creative tools for decision-making. Overall, it provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of negotiation, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to negotiate a win-win deal in a variety of contexts effectively.
Prerequisite:
- The student must have completed grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Students from non-English speaking countries must pass the English Language Proficiency Test.
- English Language Proficiency Test scores (IELTS – 6.0, TOEFL – 70, PTE – 45, CAEL – 70, CAE – 176, Duolingo – 110, Password – 6.5, and PTE – 61) are acceptable.

- Skills in project management and team leadership, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Understanding how to use Six Sigma and Lean methodologies in a variety of industries and business contexts, including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and service industries.
