To support the academic depth, research rigor, and experiential learning objectives of the Bachelor of Arts program, Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies (GNI) has established strategic library and archival partnership agreements with Sikh National Archives of Canada (SNAC) and the Khalsa Library. These partnerships significantly enhance students’ access to specialized primary and secondary resources that extend beyond conventional academic library holdings. Through these agreements, students benefit from curated access to rare manuscripts, historical documents, archival collections, digitized materials, and subject-matter expertise central to Sikh and Punjabi studies. The partnerships also support advanced undergraduate research, capstone projects, and independent studies by enabling students to engage directly with authentic archival sources, fostering critical inquiry, research literacy, and methodological skills aligned with degree-level expectations. Collectively, these collaborations strengthen GNI’s library and learning resources ecosystem while providing students with enriched, practice-oriented research opportunities grounded in globally recognized Sikh archival institutions.
