In Capstone I, students identify and develop a research project, including systematic literature
review practices appropriate to upper-division study in Sikh Studies and related disciplines.
Students develop research literacy, ethical scholarship, and methodological planning skills,
culminating in a formally approved literature review and research proposal that serves as the
foundation for Capstone II.
