This course explores Indigenous ways of knowing, learning, and being, emphasizing relationality,
land-based knowledge, oral traditions, and community-centered epistemologies. Students
examine Indigenous knowledge systems in historical and contemporary contexts, including the
impacts of colonization and the relevance of Indigenous perspectives to education, governance,
research, environmental stewardship, and reconciliation.
