
Program Overview
This program has been reviewed and approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.
This program is a single course designed to introduce management tools and teach practical applications to be a successful Frontline Supervisor/Manager and broaden leadership horizons. On completion, students will be eligible for a Certificate.
What is the course about?
This course is about how frontline supervisors/managers remove barriers, provide resources, and develop people – cognitively, socially, and psychologically. It is grounded in the belief that frontline managers are the most critical assets of a business. The course develops leadership, communication, goal setting, coaching, mentoring, problem-solving, team building, conflict resolution, time management, delegation, and decision-making skills. Ultimately, the point is to answer the question: How will you develop, motivate, and engage your employees to achieve the best possible results for your company?
Why is this course important?
Frontline supervisors/managers play a crucial role in any organization as they oversee a team’s work and ensure that it is completed efficiently and effectively. They are the first point of contact for employees. As such, they must have the skills and knowledge to lead, motivate their team, communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders, and make sound decisions that align with the organization’s goals.

Admission Requirements:
Language Proficiency Requirements (LPR)
- Prior to acceptance, applicants must meet one of the following Language Proficiency Requirements (LPR):
- Completion of 2 years of secondary education (including English 10 and 11 with a grade of ‘C’ or higher) from a country where English is one of the principal languages, or
- Completion of 2 years of full-time post-secondary education at an accredited institution where English is the language of instruction, or
- Students from non-English speaking countries must have completed grade 12 or equivalent education and provide verified results for one of the English Language Proficiency tests listed below:
