Policy
- Students will be required to retake a course under the following circumstances, if they:
1.1 Fail to meet attendance requirements
1.2. Academically fail the course - Students can only retake courses within the maximum length of the program with payment of retaking course fee subject to SEA approval.
- If they exceed this length, the Student may be dismissed and required to re-register in the program.
- There is no guarantee that GNI will offer the required course.
Postpone Courses
- GNI will send an email notification to the Students before the beginning of each course.
- A Student can request to postpone their study by taking a course in the following course cycle, with advanced written notice within three (3) days upon receiving the email. GNI Management has the sole discretion of approving such a request.
- GNI recommends that the Students speak with SEA or in her/his absence with the CEO before deciding to postpone a course or several courses. Since some courses have prerequisites, postponing one course may cause one or more courses to postpone as well.
- A Student can only postpone courses within the maximum length of the program.
- If they exceed the length, the Student will be required to get the contract extended on payment of the contract extension fee of C$100 and required to re-register in the program. There is no guarantee that GNI will offer the required course.
